Gusto Grande opened on Kent Street West in 2023 and gave Lindsay the kind of Italian dining room the town had been missing: white tablecloths, a long pasta list, seafood and a wine program, in a restored downtown space. The kitchen makes its pasta fresh and runs the Italian repertoire from antipasti through secondi, and the room takes reservations through OpenTable. It is the Kawarthas' answer to a city Italian dinner.
