NODO Junction is the address that started the small Toronto group: a casual Italian restaurant on Dundas Street West doing fresh pasta, thin-crust pizza and a short list of Italian plates. The room is warm and unpretentious, the service is quick enough for a weeknight and the patio is one of the better ones in the Junction. It takes reservations, pours a compact Italian wine list and runs a weekday happy hour, which is why the neighbourhood treats it as a default rather than an occasion.
