Sal's Pasta & Chops opened on College Street in the summer of 2025, from Fabio Bondi and Michael Sangregorio — the pair behind Local Kitchen and Lucia — and named for their fathers. The menu is Italian-Canadian family food done properly: pasta made in house and finished at the table, chops and secondi from the grill, and antipasti built for sharing. The room is warm and busy, reservations are taken, and it has quickly become one of the addresses that keeps Little Italy's restaurant strip relevant.
