TOCA is the Ritz-Carlton Toronto's Italian restaurant, on the mezzanine at Wellington and Simcoe, and it has been the South Core's default special-occasion table since the hotel opened. Chef Alessandro Panattoni, a Rome native, cooks a refined Italian menu built on hand-made pasta, seasonal mains and a serious cheese cave, with breakfast, lunch, dinner and a weekend brunch all served in the same room. Service runs at hotel standard, the wine list is broad and Italian-leaning, and the location makes it an easy dinner before a game or a show at the nearby arenas and theatres.
